The Johnson County Livable Community (JCLC) Communications Committee creates and updates materials that help the Livable Community Policy Board and Action Team members inform the community about overall goals and efforts, help publicize events and activities, and disseminate informational resources for successful aging throughout the community.
Communications Committee members work with the JCLC Aging Specialist and JCLC Administrative Specialist to coordinate and contribute articles to our free quarterly Connections newsletter, which reaches more than 1,500 readers electronically, and by mail to those without internet service who request it. Periodically the Communications Committee also reviews JCLC website policies and submits recommendations to the Policy Board.
